The Minnesota Timberwolves accomplished a rare feat last night... a ROAD-WIN. The Timberwolves traveled to the American Airlines Arena last night to take on the Miami Heat and for once they actually showed up to play.
Who knows if it was just the heat in Miami that thawed out the Minnesota Timberwolves Roster or if they are finally just sick of sucking, either way the Twolves beat the Heat 91-88 and despite the close score, the Timberwolves dominated the court for most of the game. The Heat played sloppy, unenergetic basketball and the Timberwolves Roster capitalized on it. With Timberwolves newcomer Darko Milicic playing a great game and Love, Jefferson, Milicic trio really found their rhythm. Timberwolves rookie Jonny Flynn had an on-night making the Timberwolves Offense a force to be reckoned with.
Tonight the Timberwolves play in Atlanta, before heading to Oklahoma City to finish their road trip. Saturday the Minnesota Timberwolves play at home in the Target Center.
