Minnesota Timberwolves play two great back to back games and walk away with weekend wins

For just the second time this season, the Minnesota Timberwolves posted back to back wins. Both Friday against the LA Clippers and Sunday against the New York Knicks, the Minnesota Timberwolves roster walked away with big wins and a confidence boost.

Friday's game against the LA Clippers seemed like a whole new team, from the moment the Timberwolves Roster stepped onto the floor at the Target Center they were in control of the ball an the game. Capitalizing on the Clippers loss to the worst team in the NBA, the Twolves worked the floor and kept the ball moving. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the LA Clippers 111-97, having a 23 point lead at one point in the game, the highest split the team has seen on the board all season.

Sunday's game at the the Target Center did not start out as well of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The New York Knicks came out swinging and most Timberwolves Fans (myself included) thought it would be a repeat of the embarrassing game the Timberwolves played in Madison Square Garden earlier in the week. However, the Timberwolves took control of the ball and ended up walking away with victory number two of the weekend, posting a final score of 112-91.

This was only the second time in 2009-2010 Minnesota Timberwolves season so far that they have posted back to back wins. With a big break in the schedule this week, hopefully they can turn their back to back into a 3 game winning streak! On a total optimistic note, if the Timberwolves start to win regularly, Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets will go up in price, everyone loves a winning team... I would suggest snagging your Target Center Tickets for home Timberwolves games early if you want to miss the potential price hike!

I think a 3 game winning streak may be too optimistic for this team.
