According to a member of Hoops Hype, a rumor has been circulating that Carmelo Anthony could be possibly traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, or New Jersey Nets. It has been well documented about Anthony's possible departure and unwillingness to sign an extension with the Denver Nuggets.Early reports believed he was headed to the New York Knicks. Whether there is any steam or not behind this, it does make any Timberwolf wonder how Anthony would fit here and our first "superstar" since KG. I think it's a longshot based on the assumption Anthony would not want to sign an extension, but it is tempting to wonder the package it would take to lure him here and how much excitement it could bring.
