Wolves Get 18th Selection in NBA Draft

The Minnesota Timberwolves will have the 18th selection in the NBA Draft this June. The draft takes place in New Jersey.

The NBA conducted a drawing to determine the draft order of the three teams that finished 36-and-30.

The Knicks won the three-team drawing and earned the 16th pick. Houston had previously acquired that pick, so the Rockets will choose 16th. Dallas will pick 17th based on the drawing. And, Utah fell to the 18th spot in the selection order. The Wolves earned that choice through the Al Jefferson trade. Minnesota will also have a second round pick in the June 28th draft. That selection falls 58th overall.
