Meet Timberwolves Brandon Roy

Brandon Roy is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Roy previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers for five seasons. He was selected sixth in the 2006 NBA Draft, having completed four years playing for the Washington Huskies. In 2009, he served as the team's co-captain, along with LaMarcus Aldridge. His nickname was "B-Roy", but he was also referred to as "The Natural" by announcer Brian Wheeler.

On December 10, 2011, Roy announced his retirement from basketball due to a degenerative knee condition, though in 2012, he decided to return to the NBA.
