Kevin Love Reaches 50 Straight Double-Doubles

Kevin Love continues to stack up the double-doubles. He now has 50 straight double-doubles, 1 shy of the record Moses Malone accumulated in the 1978-1979 season. Not to mention that Klove has several 20/20 games, including a 20/20 performance on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. He has been as reliable as they come. Overall, Kevin Love has 59 double-doubles in a possible 74 games. Kevin Love is truly a machine. Cologne Pushes for Kevin Love's All-Star Big

Let's be real - Kevin Love deserves an All-Star bid. I understand the team is 10-35. But you can't ignore KLove's numbers. He's averaging 21.6 points and 15.7 rebounds a game. The first player to average 20 and 15 since Moses Malone in the 1982-1983 season. He's averaging 2.4 more rebounds ahead of the 2nd place rebounder - Dwight Howard. To get him into the All-Star Game, the Minnesota Timberwolves have created a commercial with KLove and a special cologne. According to ESPN, "The commercial is filmed in black-and-white, depicting Love entering a night club wearing sunglasses, a suit and a scarf. He takes off his glasses and glances at team mascot Crunch, who is surrounded by Timberwolves dancers and hoists a glass in Love's direction."

"Who has the numbers?" Love asks. "You tell me." The cologne is titled "Numb#rs".

Kevin Love MVP Consideration?

It's December 10th. Kevin Love is currently averaging 20 points and 15 rebounds. Look at that stat for a second. 20 and 15? In this day in age? That is an outstanding statistic, one that hasn't been reached since Moses Malone in 1982-1983. He could be on pace for a historic season. As a Minnesota Timberwolves fan, Kevin Love is a treat to watch. He is already the #2nd best Minnesota Timberwolves player in franchise history, in my humble opinion. Wally was solid, Marbury was nice, Cassell and Sprewell were outstanding for that season, but Kevin Love is as consistent as they come. At this point, he deserves to make the NBA All-Star Team and COULD be in discussion for MVP. Of course, that hinders on how the team is also doing which will most likely hurt him against Kobe, Durant, and LeBron.
