What the Wolves Need: John Wall or Evan Turner

The Timberwolves are in need of some star power in order to compete for an NBA championship. The NBA is a stars league and it's impossible to win a championship without one. It's nearly impossible to name a championship team that was without a sure-fire Hall of Famer. The one team that comes to mind is the Detroit Pistons, but their starting line up consisted of 4 all stars (Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, Richard Hamilton, and Ben Wallace) and 1 olympian (Tayshaun Prince). Neither Jonny Flynn, Al Jefferson, or Kevin Love fit the profile of a superstar that can win a title. They're all great players in their own right, but none of them make their teammates better. Flynn is an explosive scorer, but he fails to see the court well enough to get his teammates involved. Love is a terrific rebounder and scorer, but does not have the ability to dominate a game. Jefferson can score against anyone whenever he wants, but is a suspect defender and fails to get his teammates involved. The Wolves have a few nice pieces, but they need a superstar to really make this team a contender. The two players in this years draft that would be able to help them are John Wall and Evan Turner. I'll have profiles on them later and write about why they are the only ones who can turn around this franchise.

Great thoughts and great layout for your blog. I am actually doing research to help improve my own blog and came to your site due to one of your favorite movies being the same as my own....Hoosiers. Although, I'm a Bulls Guy myself.
