The Minnesota Timberwolves signed point guard Luke Ridnour to a 4 year, $16 million contract. Last season, Luke Ridnour played for the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 10.4 points with 4 assists. He shot 47.8% from the field, backing up Brandon Jennings. With Jonny Flynn and Ramon Sessions on the roster, it creates a bit of a logjam at point guard. Ramon Sessions still may be moved before the start of the season. General Manager David Kahn expects Luke Ridnour to compete for the starting position.
