Minnesota Timberwolves Trade Al Jefferson

Al Jefferson dribbling the ball We knew it was coming. Yesterday the Minnesota Timberwolves made it official, Al Jefferson is no longer a Minnesota Timberwolf. The Timberwolves traded him to the Utah Jazz for 2 future first round picks and Kosta Koufos, although Koufos appears to be headed elsewhere. With the signings of Darko Milic, Nikola Pekovic, and the acquisition of Michael Beasley, Minnesota Timberwolves fans knew Al Jefferson was the odd man out. He was a solid player but couldn't really co-exist with Kevin Love and his defense was questionable. It's tough to see him go, but we wish him the best and are thankful for his contributions here. The only hope is now we can build off the draft picks, something Minnesota hasn't made the easiest.

Minnesota needs to stop acting like it has a plan when the truth is - Minnesota is still the same dumbfounded organization that wasted all Kevin Garnett's glory years.
