Timberwolves fans

The thing I love about this blog is doing research for fun posts! And you know I love finding fun pictures of the best basketball fans in the nation. Take a peek at the newest ones I found online just by searching for "Timberwolves fans."

Happy fourth of July, Timberwolves fans!

Happy 4th of July, Timberwolves! We hope you enjoy the time with your friends and family. Give thanks for your beautiful life and your freedom. And give thanks for the NBA Draft which means it's almost time for Basketball season!

Here's a picture of Kevin Love looking patriotic in his USA Olympic jersey!

Timberwolves to play in Mexico City in Regular Season

Exciting news for Timberwolves everywhere! The NBA has recently announced it will send the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves to Mexico City in December to play a regular season game.

The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks are also being sent away to London in January 2014 as part of its Global Games schedule. The Spurs-Wolves game will be played at the Mexico City Arena on Dec. 4, the 21st NBA game ever in Mexico.

I feel like play abroad is fun for the athletes, but who goes to the games? Do the locals go to the game to support the team? And you have to be a pretty dedicated fan to show up in Mexico or London just to watch a NBA game.

Apparently, it's not too weird. This NBA Global Games schedule will feature 12 NBA teams playing in 10 regular season and preseason games across eight cities in six countries. This includes two preseason games in China between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors scheduled for October and a game in Brazil between the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards on Oct. 12.

Tony Ronzone Leave Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Tony Ronzone have parted ways. They "mutually" agreed to part ways. Ronzone was the assistant general manager for the Timberwolves ever since David Kahn was first hired. Ronzone is especially known for his ability to evaluate talent and his connections overseas. You can tell that he had a big influence in the draft room because the Wolves made so many international picks during the time he was a part of the organization. Tony, you shall be missed.

The Struggles and Triumphs of being a Minnesota Timberwolves Fan

Sometimes it is really hard to be a Minnesota Timberwolves Fan... it is hard to say that my team loses way more than it wins. It is hard to say that my team can't seem to figure out the flow of the offense my team's coach is running. It is hard to say that my team needs more on the court leadership, but these are things that most Minnesota Timberwolves Fans would say.

But the way I see it, there are also lots of great benefits to being a fan of the Minnesota Timberwolves:
1) The Minnesota Timberwolves Roster, seems much more accessible because there ego's are not huge from winning so much
2) Winning is cause for a huge celebration, we have yet to become desensitized to it
3) Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets are not super expensive, because no one other than the true committed fans by tickets to go see a team get close to a win
4) The Minnesota Timberwolves Players are pretty good looking
and 5) Sometimes you just have to rally behind a bad team for the simple reason that they are the hometown team.
