MN Timberwolves Play a Great Season Opener Thanks to Jonny Flynn

The Minnesota Timberwolves opened their regular season at the Target Center last night against the New Jersey Nets. Despite a rough pregame and several heartbreaking losses that could have been avoided, Jonny Flynn and the Timberwolves came out swinging last night despite missing Kevin Love who is still recovering from hand surgery.

Last nights game started rocky for the Timberwolves and at the start of the 4th quarter the Minnesota Timberwolves were down by 16 points. That is when newcomer to the Timberwolves Roster, Jonny Flynn proved yet again why David Khan selected him immediatly after selecting Ricky Rubio (who ended up not coming to Minnesota, giving Flynn a chance to prove that he was the better choice even if he was a lower draft pick). Flynn helped turn the 4th quarter around scoring 11 of his 18 points in the last half both from the line and on strong drives to the hoop.

This weekend the Minnesota Timberwolves and Jonny Flynn take on the Cleveland Cavaliers and are hell bent on making sure that game 2 for Kurt Rambis is another win. Timberwolves Tickets are available still at cheap prices, but as the Minnesota Timberwolves 2009-2010 Season progresses these ticket deals will not last. Buy Timberwolves Tickets today!
