Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wolves have been hovering at or around .500 for the last week or two, but with two straight losses, the Wolves are sitting at 13-15. They will have four games in the upcoming week that could potentially boost them back up.

Their week will start tonight as the Wolves fly to Florida for a showdown with the Orlando Magic. The Magic are 17-11, with their strong season due mostly to Dwight Howard.

On Wednesday, the Wolves will be returning back to the Target Center to meet the Charlotte Bobcats. The 'Cats are possibly the worst team in the NBA, sitting at 3-24. Though the Bobcats are clearly terrible overall, they have been the worst on the road, boding well for the Timberwolves.

The weekend will bring games with the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers.

I'm looking for the Wolves to bounce back this week, which will be easier with Kevin Love back in the lineup full time after his two game suspension. I predict the Wolves will take 3 of four, losing to Orlando.

Timberwolves New Schedule Released

The NBA released schedules recently. I gotta say, I'm liking the Wolves schedule for next season! First things first, I love that we open up at home. That place will be packed to see the debuts of Ricky Rubio and Derrick Williams, so I could really see us starting the season off with a win. Also we start out the season against Atlanta, at Phillie, then home games vs. Phoenix, Toronto and Sacramento. We could easily win the first game against Atlanta because of the crowd and everything. We'll probably lose at Philadelphia but I could see us taking at least two out of three in those last three home games. That means a 4-1 or 3-2 start is a very real possibility for the Wolves. Here are three games I'm really looking forward too.

November 25th vs. Houston Rockets: No, I don't care about Kevin McHale's return, I just am excited because it will be on ESPN.

December 23rd vs. Dallas Mavericks - Who doesn't want to see the Wolves take on the champs!? Plus the Mavs have Rudy Fernandez from Spain, Ricky vs. Rudy Part one. I can't wait.

February 6th at Memphis - Nothing special here. I just think the Grizz are a really cool team and I want to watch them steam roll the Wolves.

Last Home Game of the Season

Michael BeasleyThe Minnesota Timberwolves are playing the Phoenix Suns tonight in Phoenix, Arizona. It is their last road game of the season. The final game of the season comes on Wednesday, April 13th against the Houston Rockets at the Target Center. It was another rough season for Minnesota Timberwolves fans, as the season draws to a close. With that being said, I at least applaud the players for grinding out the season and closing out the year. Hopefully we can finally secure a Top Pick in the 2011 NBA Draft (first or second for a change) and change our fortune around. Use Ticket King for any Minnesota Timberwolves tickets!

Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timbewolves

Luis Scola of the Houston RocketsThe Minnesota Timberwolves have some much needed time off for a few days. After a busy and rigorous schedule, the Minnesota Timberwolves will play the Houston Rockets on Monday, January 24th at the Target Center. The Rockets are currently 20-23 while the Minnesota Timberwolves are 10-33. The Minnesota Timberwolves could use some home victories that might give them some momentum. A healthy Michael Beasley, Jonny Flynn, Martell Wesbter, Darko Milicic, and Wesley Johnson will help that cause. Kevin Martin is the leading scorer for the Houston Rockets, at 23.2 points per game. Power forward Luis Scola is averaging 19 points and 8 rebounds a game. Should be a good one. Purchase your Minnesota Timberwolves tickets with Ticket King today!
