One Game left on the Minnesota Timberwolves Schedule

It has been a very hard season to be a Minnesota Timberwolves fan... with loss after loss the Minnesota Timberwolves roster has to be ready to give up the game. Tonight the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Detroit Pistons for the last game of the 2009-2010 Timberwolves Season.

Even if the Twolves walk away with a victory, which I think is highly unlikely, they will still be ranked last in the NBA and their season will be over. In many ways this is a blessing, the entire franchise needs to lay low for a week or so and then pull it together and start making some tough choices about next season. I am of the opinion that a coach should be given more than one season to prove himself, Kurt Rambis walked into a tough situation.

Despite talent like Jonny Flynn and Al Jefferson on the Timberwolves Roster, Coach Kurt Rambis had to basically start building a franchise... so to that light, I would rather see Rambis take a hard look at his game strategy and tailor that around his players than have the the Timberwolves find a new coach. Kurt Rambis has the potential to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves well, he just needs some time to do it.

Tonight's Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Detroit Pistons is at the Target Center and tips off at 7:00.
